Apple on Wednesday quietly released a new addition of the tiniest music player. The third generation iPod Shuffle. It is the first music player that talks to you. The device can now announce the title and artist of the track to you.
The device is nearly half the size of the previous model.
Yes, there is no control wheel anymore.
Users are now free to use their own headphone with this new version.
Clip at the back makes it wearable.
The VoiceOver functionality tells you which song, album or playlist you are listening to.
The new iPod shuffle will be sold in five different colors and in only one capacity: 2GB. The battery life is rated at 15 hours. The US price of the new iPod shuffle is $49.
