RSS means "Rich Site Summary". It is basically, various web formats through which you can receive updates of the site or blog you have subscribed to. This is a free service.
How can I subscribe?
There are various different options to subscribe to RSS feed. When ever you land on a site that has quality content and you wish to read more on it then instead of visiting the site again, you can subscribe to RSS feed.
Here you can see, you have a lot of service through which you can subscribe. Like My Yahoo, Google,etc. You even have the option to get it mailed directly into your mail account (the second last menu in Subscribe Now! area).
