How to display delete confirmation dialog box, in Windows 8 & 8.1?

In Windows 8 and 8.1 both, when you delete a file or folder, the file or folder moves to Recycle Bin, but in older versions of Windows, users were asked before moving the file to Recycle Bin.

It is not a problem but some non tech savvy users find problem. Though you can always search for files and folders on your Recycle Bin.

How to get delete confirmation dialog box back?

1. Right Click on the Recycle Bin icon or Right Click on the Recycle Bin window.
2. Select Properties.
3. Check the Display delete confirmation dialog.
4. Click OK.
